¡Hola from Mexico!
We are SO excited to be here in Playa del Carmen, celebrating our one year anniversary and Thanksgiving with my family! I cannot believe that we have already been married for a year and now we are back just a few miles from where we honeymooned last year.
Reflecting on our first year of marriage and the blur of planning a destination wedding, one of the easiest parts of it all was selecting our rings. For our first (dating) anniversary 5 years ago, Shane bought me a beautiful Forevermark diamond necklace from Reeds Jewelers. What a keeper right?!? Years later when it came to looking at engagement rings, Reeds was our first and only stop. Their service and quality has kept us coming back time after time. After Shane purchased my engagement ring here, it was instinct to come back for our wedding bands and this new beautiful addition to my set for our 1st wedding anniversary.
You’ve heard it before that diamonds are timeless, and it’s so true. Every time I look at my left hand, I think of my husband and the beauty that these rings represent. Our first year of marriage has been nothing short of amazing. We have moved to a new city, bought a house, and established a life together. We quickly figured out that we are much better as a team than individuals and in this season of giving thanks, I am most thankful for him.
With the holiday’s coming up, though you may not be in the market for wedding purchases, I cannot recommend Reed’s enough for a gift for your special someone. You can shop brands like Kendra Scott, David Yurman, Pandora, Forevermark, Fossil and many more by visiting Reeds.com. Gifts like this are the ones to be remembered every time he or she puts it on.
I look forward to sharing more of our trip with you and hope you have an amazing Thanksgiving with your loved ones. Thank you to Reeds Jewelers for sponsoring this post.
