After updating our floors and kitchen last year, we decided to move on to smaller projects around the house like our half bath renovation. What I thought would be a weekend of work stretched out to about a month in this tiny room off the kitchen. When we tore out the old floors, we left the laminate in this room until we were ready to remodel the bathroom. The first thing I picked out for this room was the tile and I absolutely love it!

It’s not just for television on HGTV that mishaps happen that extend the timeline or break the budget. I can personally say that we have had unexpected expenses come up in every project we have done. This time it was the vanity. We were planning on reusing the pedestal sink for this room, but the previous faucet left a stain that we could not cover or get out, but having a new vanity adds functionality and storage to this small space. On the other hand, this was one of the first projects we did not have to buy new tools. We bought a ton of tools for the kitchen renovation and have collected a quality set through each project we’ve done. Here’s how the bathroom turned out…

I love the tile! Half baths are the best because you can go baller on the tile since there isn’t that much square footage! This looks super luxe.
